Fucking crap kids. Well, the Orangemen did their damn best to give their second round game away to the Maryland Fighting Wombats (or some other fighting shitty animal) and they almost managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory if it hadn't been for (cocaína fiend and former baseball stud) Darryl Strawberry's kid missing two point blank shots at the buzzer.

Craig Forth put in a stellar effort in the last couple minutes, bricking not one...not two...but FOUR fucking free throws. Forth is an occasional stud, but dude has lacked any sort of confidence since his first few games as a freshman. And he's totally got a better game than he's ever put together and displayed in the three years worth of games he's played at SU. Fucking get after it, CF! Overall, It's hard to say how the frick this game managed to slip from being a 16 point cushion down to scrapping it out at the buzzer, but it fucking sucked to have to listen to it and not see the action (or Syracuse's lack-there-of).

Which brings about the second beef. What's up with fucking CBS running St. Joe's vs Texas Tech instead of a 4 vs. 5 matchup of the last two national champions? They decide to go with a 1 vs. 8 over a 4 vs. 5? Who's running this network? They should have gone with 'Cuse/Maryland for 80% of the national coverage. They had better be tossing Hakim and Gerry some coverage next week or there will definitely be some calls made... like, uhhhh... to the local cable people or something. Bastards.
