Well, that didn't exactly go as planned... As most of y'alls know, a-n-c.com (in cooperation with TAR3's Michael and TAR4's Josh) has been dropping some fairly heavy hints (they're actually not so much hints as they are blatant fucking directions) to the cast of TAR5, that plenty of us boozed-up, gambling-addicted alumni may just "happen" to show up in Las Vegas, Nevada around the 6th of July. And if "by chance", they're out in the middle of the fucking desert at the same time, perhaps we could all get together and watch some TV. Oh yeah, and then go out, lose all our money and get blitzed out of our gawddamn minds. Who can really pass that up, ya know?

So far it ain't looking so good. Sure, it could all be due to the confidentiality agreement. Maybe they're laying low until they can say something to us. But seriously... confidentiality is overrated. They're on a fucking commercial. "Confidentiality time" is over. Or perhaps they all hate each other and they'd never even think about having a party together. Racing for a million smacks has generally had a negative effect on a person's ability to socialize cordially. It's also quite possible that they are having a party amongst themselves and decided (as a group) that they hated the majority of us former Racers and therefore wouldn't be inviting the previous seasons. This site may have contributed to that hatred. Or shit, what if none of them had ever watched the Race before, got recruited, and have no desire to ever meet a previous racer, let alone get pissy drunk with them? It's possible. Season 4 was full of TAR fans, which is why we recognized our predecessors and forced them to come out and watch our crappy show with us.

Whatever the case may be, we haven't had a lot of success in figuring out a plan of action. Not only that, but there have been rumblings that the 5s have other arrangements in the works. So who knows, it may end up being a bunch of the alumni reminiscing, getting basted, and going "bowling", without any of the new kids showing up. Either way, there will be a solid core of die-hards that'll end up in Vegas (that 2nd week of July) no matter what. We would love to invite the rookies, but it's not like we have their email addresses and phone numbers. They should know (by now) where the "good party" is going to be, and can decide what they're going to do about it.
