Here's a "Getting Free Shits" update for the month... Some of y'all may be aware of the story we threw at you, back in September, about that free iPod scam (No? Go read it). Hell, a crapload of you signed up (suckas). Well, if any of you were trying to gauge the jankyness of the whole deal, witness the pic that accompanies this here article. Yep, that's right. Sum'bitch Josh completed the requirements and has in his possession, a completely free, very cool, and brand-freaking-new 20GB Apple iPod. Yeah yeah yeah, even though a-n-c.com had been pimping this rip-off, there was still considerable amounts of suspicion. Cuz really, that's a $300 gadget, y'all. Anyone who thinks they're getting that shit for free has to be out their mind. Or that was the thought. Now Josh, has iPod. Amanda, no has one. Chris, him no gottem' neither. The only problem is, in the time span since we first talked about this, there have been a mess of new "free shit" sites introduced. You can get almost anything for free these days, just by signing up some friends and doing a trial offer. It's only a matter of time before you'll be able to have a hooker and a pile of blow sent to your house, after submitting to some spam mail and buying $25 worth of pet care supplies. This is such a great country. There's also been a boom of sites that help guide you through the process of getting hooked up with gadgets. They vary from sites that post proof of the offer's legitimacy to sites that tell you which trials are the most painless. More on those later.
